As the Associate Dean of Housing and Residential Life, I want to welcome you to the Office of Housing and Residential Life (OHRL) official website!  The following pages will provide an assortment of information about the residential programs and services that are available for the Men of Morehouse College.

My vision for OHRL is to become a “premier collegiate housing and residential life program.”  As such, residential life at Morehouse College will be regarded as one of the best collegiate housing and residential life programs in the country featuring quality living and learning programs, as well as, state of the art facilities. Over the past three years, OHRL has established a new foundation that has strengthened our commitment in developing a safe and inclusive residential community.  The “Renaissance” that OHRL has experienced thus far is synonymous with Dr. Robert M. Franklin’s (10^th President of Morehouse College) vision of producing Renaissance Men with a social conscience and a global perspective.” The entire OHRL staff and I embody the essence of President Franklin’s vision and have sought to engage residential students in innovative and educationally purposeful activities that will support the development of the Morehouse Man.  Our creative learning communities, energetic Residence Hall Association (RHA) and pioneering National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) – Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Chapter – are just a few examples of the inventive spirit of the students and staff of OHRL.
